UK Government 'Kick Start' Scheme Will Help Young Scots

Today at DWP Questions, Andrew asked Therese Coffey what efforts she was taking to ensure young Scots won't be disproportionately affected by the economic fall out from Covid-19, given the higher rate of unemployment when the pandemic hit.

Andrew Joins Fisheries Committee

Andrew was today asked to join the Fisheries Bill Committee, the committee will play a vital role in progressing the bill through Parliament and setting the new policy with which our fisheries will operate under following the end of the EU transition period.

The UK Governments Eat Out to Help Out Scheme has come to an end today but has been an overwhelming success according to Andrew. Speaking as he enjoyed a steak sandwich on one of the last days of the Eat Out scheme he said,

Andrew has announced that despite current social distancing rules, he intends to conduct a number of advice surgeries across the constituency over the coming weeks. The surgeries will be held outside in the open and will adhere to social distancing rules throughout.
