Andrews Update from Westminster

It is hard to believe that this time last year, Parliament was in deadlock, unable to pass the Meaningful Vote, lurching from crisis to crisis- the Conservative Party at war with itself and the opposition able to inflict damage on the Government at a stroke. What a difference a few months make.

Scottish Government Budget Opinion

Aberdeenshire Council and the county’s residents have been given another raw budget deal by the SNP government. Despite £1.6 billion in extra investment being sent from the Conservative UK Government, none of that is being spent here.

More Calls for Funding Towards Bridge Repairs and Replacements

Andrew has once again written to Scottish Government Ministers Kate Forbes & Kevin Stewart asking for action to repair or replace the multiple bridges in Aberdeenshire closed or at risk. He has also asked Councillors what might be done with existing funds. In The Press and Journal today.

NATO Visit - Ramstein Air Base

Last week Andrew joined colleagues from across the House of Commons at NATO Air Command, Ramstein Air Base in Germany. Specifically to see the UK component and speak to our brilliant RAF personnel serving in Germany and contributing so much to our collective defence.
