Andrew spent the day out and about in Kemnay today during a brief trip home from Parliament before returning the same evening ready for a rare Saturday sitting. After a busy morning on the doors he spoke about the positive response from constituents towards getting Brexit done.
Earlier today Andrew raised the closure of Abbeyton & Park Bridges in Parliament. Andrew asked to discuss ways of allowing the UK Govt to directly fund crucial pieces of infrastructure that Aberdeenshire Council cannot fund due to budget cuts from the Scottish Government.
Last night in the debate on the Queens Speech Andrew called for Parliament to work together and deliver a good Brexit "so that we can reunite the country and move on and deliver this positive, forward looking, One Nation programme for our whole country."
Andrew attended a packed public meeting in Laurencekirk tonight, ScotRail reps were questioned by members of the public annoyed by the changes to the timetable and the woeful service experienced on trains going south.
